New Frontiers Meeting 2024

Registration for virtual participation is open!

‘A roadmap for a new diagnostic framework for mental disorders’, 17-18 March 2024, explores how, by linking the classification of neuropsychiatric disorders to their underlying biology, new pathways might be opened to precision diagnostics and the development of new and better treatments.

All scientists, industry leaders, patient representatives and regulators interested in joining the meeting can participate virtually via access to the virtual platform where all sessions will be livestreamed.

Check the programme and visit this page to find out how to register and what fees apply.
There is no cap on the number of virtual attendees.

New insights at #ECNP2023 Campfire Session
Rethinking the serotonin theory

Explore the latest insights from the 36th ECNP Congress 2023 Campfire Session, 'Serotonin and Depression - where do we stand?' through the eyes of Dogukan Koc, an early career researcher of the SEROTONIN and BEYOND EU project.

The session, guided by Philip J. Cowen, delved into a critical analysis of the serotonin theory to look at the relationship between serotonin and depression, the necessity for methodological rigour, the complexities of serotonin receptors, and implications for clinical practice.

SEROTONIN and BEYOND is supported by ECNP.

Attitudes towards research and data sharing

The EU Project AIMS-2-TRIALS is currently recruiting autistic and non-autistic participants (aged 18 years or over) for our online survey about attitudes towards research and the sharing of research data. The project seeks to learn what kind of data participants would be happy to share, with whom, and how much involvement they would like to have in the process.

The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
